Spotify’s Top 500 Global Rank, which is based on monthly listener statistics, highlights the largest artists on the site. The number of unique users who have listened to at least one song from an artist within the previous 28 days is represented by these figures.

The best artists may attract over 100 million unique listeners on their own, with Spotify boasting close to 600 million monthly active users. This indicates that within a month, nearly one user in five listens to these well-known musicians.

On Spotify, Taylor Swift is the most popular artist ever, and Drake is the most popular male artist. Every year, Spotify releases a list of its most popular artists. Drake and Bad Bunny have been in the top three times, but Bad Bunny is the only one to do it three years in a row (from 2020 to 2022). Taylor Swift is the only woman to top the list, which she did in 2023.
